Map 1 - Vacant Dom:
1st round - neither team really stood out for a while, but eventually FF pushed hard and created a deserved lead for themselves, which they held to win the round.
2nd round - this time both teams came out all guns blazing. DoA looked sharper and at several times dominated all 3 flags. FF didnt give up but DoA's defence of B was rock-solid. Jim was stunning.
3rd round - again, no real difference between the sides for a while. however, DoA started to edge it, with Doomtrain in particular popping up at C to terrorise FF on several occasions.
DoA 2 - 1 FF

Map 2 - Strike HQ:
1st round - DoA took the first HQ and never looked back, comfortably winning this round.
2nd round - FF came out quite slowly but steadily pushed themselves into the lead.
3rd round - this was very close, with the lead exchanged several times. DoA got a useful chopper at one point, and won the round.

Map 3 - Showdown Dom:
1st round - FF played solidly. they were constantly holding the balconies and used good grenades to rout the DoA attempts at taking B (Doomtrain was quite partial to leaping into the fountain).
2nd round - DoA made a cracking start, dominating at one point, but FF turned the tables in style, making it just too difficult for DoA to claw their way back into the lead. Fiz made several great flag captures by jumping from balconies, and the most incredible moment of the match was Vinto's one-man-army assault on flag C. he singlehandedly took the flag, bringing down 5 of FF at point blank range. nonetheless, FF looked slick and took the win.
FF 2 - 0 DoA

Map 4 - Strike Dom:
1st round - DoA somehow ended up reversing the spawns almost immediately, taking C and losing A (which they had spawned at). despite heavy pressure from FF, DoA got organised and staved off FF for a good 5 mins, holding flag B for all of that last period - the longest time a flag ever stayed in one team's possession.
2nd round - DoA were rampant at the beginning, but FF took the blow and hit back at DoA harder. at several periods of the game, FF dominated, with beakd standing out in particular after making a terrific start and calling in a chopper.
3rd round - again, DoA started quickly, and again FF punched back. however, after some frantic shooting, DoA made an almighty effort and finally secured B. from then on, B swapped once or twice, whilst C and A swapped so often i could barely keep up. Hornetti, as he had done in previous rounds of the war, gave a tremendously committed effort, dragging FF through in some of the really difficult patches, but it just wasn’t enough. DoA took the round and won the final.
